Every year I tell myself that I am only going to actually make cards for the really special people in my life, every year I ignore that thought and make one for all anyway, oh boy, what a task, I started in July and I am still going, I have still got a few more to do and to be honest I will be glad when they are done, I have done so many now (well over a 100) it will be so nice to do something other than Christmas, next year I definately will be following my advice.
I have posted just a small selection of cards for this year (2010)

Easel cards made with flowersoft images, matted and layered then mounted onto main card blank.

Shaker card made with Flowersoft snow globes then filled with white flowersoft to form falling snow

Topper taken from Hinny Bop C D the cocktail hour, well worth buying, it has hundreds of gorgeous images. Matted onto gold mirror card then black card and finished off with peeloffs. The sentiment was printed in black then traced with a clear sakura pen and crystal glitter added before the ink dried.

The backing paper and topper were taken from Joanna Sheen's dancing with shadows c d mounted onto black card and a Kameo cards matt. peeloffs and gems added to complete.

This is the insert for the Joanna Sheen card

Insert for the Silhouette card

Image taken from Joanna Sheens Dancing with Shadows CD. I used a decorative matt from Kameo cards to mount it on and added some gold peeloffs around the edges and some gems from papermania.

Had to make this in a hurry, it has got to go in the post in the morning. I am pleased with it........ sort of, I needed more time really, my real job and Christmas cards have taken over in the past few weeks. This is a decoupage image from Jane Netley Mayhew (Joanna Sheen) matted onto blue mirror card, it is 8" x 8" I need to find or make an envelope now and time is rapidly running out.
I have been busy lately making my Christmas cards, it is a long job, I make over 100 every year and the list is still growing. I will be posting them on my blog soon so keep watching. I am at the moment making my brother his birthday card for Saturday so got to get it done today so that it can be posted, and will post it on the site later today.

Thanks to everyone who views my blog, your time and interest is appreciated.

We had a very big problem with a swarm of bees on Sunday, they chose our cavity wall to build a hive. I made this card for two very kind people (bee keepers) who gave up most of their day to help us out. Unfortunately we had to get someone from pest control out in the end as there was no way of getting the queen out, we did try but to no avail.

Thank
Thank you Jenny for your comments. The Image I used was from The Cocktail hour CD from Hinny Bop Designs, it has been decoupaged (printed on photo paper) and mounted onto black card. The CD is beautiful and full of background papers, inserts, silhouettes and more, well worth buying.
